Potiss Paper Tissue Box

An Eco-Friendly and Stylish Solution

The inspiration for the Potiss Paper Tissue Box came from the product itself. The designer envisioned a pot-shaped box that would be ideally suited for flower-scented tissues. The addition of seeds to the papier-mache cover not only makes the box nature-friendly but also allows it to become a part of nature. The aim of this design is to raise environmental awareness and promote the growth of green spaces.

What sets the Potiss Paper Tissue Box apart is its eco-friendly and stylish design. The box is made from 350g paper and features flower-scented tissues that vary depending on the variant. With its appealing look, the Potiss Paper Tissue Box can also be used as a stylish table accessory.

One of the unique features of the Potiss Paper Tissue Box is the inclusion of seeds in the papier-mache cover. This allows the box to be buried in the ground, and trees can be grown from it. This innovative approach not only adds to the box's eco-friendliness but also encourages users to actively participate in creating a greener environment.

The Potiss Paper Tissue Box can be produced in a printing house, with the seeds added to the papier-mache cover manually. Its specifications include a height of 130mm, a radius of 60mm, and a weight of 90g.

The project started in September 2015 and was completed in November 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey. During the design process, extensive online research was conducted to gather examples of tissue box packaging and different box designs. This research allowed the designer to have a detailed understanding of the competitors and the category, leading to the creation of a unique and standout design.

The main challenge of the project was to create a tissue paper box that would differentiate itself in the market and become popular. The Potiss Paper Tissue Box successfully meets this challenge by offering a stylish and eco-friendly alternative to traditional tissue boxes.

The Potiss Paper Tissue Box was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2016. This prestigious award recognizes designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill.
